Jack Tweed was given permission to ignore his curfew on Tuesday so he could be with wife Jade Goody.
As part of his early release, the 21-year-old must wear an electronic tag and be at his mum Mary’s home in Essex from 7pm to 7am.
But because Jade, 27, suffered 'a turn' following an op to remove a bowel blockage, he was allowed to break the conditions on compassionate grounds.
Jack, who was found guilty of another assault charge on Tuesday, used the opportunity to beg the Big Brother star for forgiveness.
‘I told her I’m so sorry for my behaviour in the past,’ he tells The Sun. 'It’s meant I haven’t been there for her the whole time.
'I told her I’ve let everyone down but have learned my lesson. And I said I’m worried that, once again, I won’t be there for her and the family when they really need me.’
Jack was not allowed to breach the curfew again last night, though.
‘Jade’s not been seeing anybody,’ adds her spokesman Max Clifford. ‘She is resting up so she can see her boys.
‘She’s drifting in and out of consciousness but is in slightly less pain. From that point of view the operation has been a success but the next 48 hours are crucial.’
