Cheryl Cole was shocked to see a man suffering from acute altitude sickness as she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for a third day.
The Girls Aloud star, 25, is battling to reach the summit of the largest mountain in Africa with nine other celebs to raise money for Comic Relief.
'He looked scared, really frightened,’ she says. 'It really shook me up, shook all of us up.
'You feel really strange at this altitude anyway, emotional and strange - then to see that really got to us.
'I started to wonder if I was suffering from it too - but I'm alright.'
Fearne Cotton, 27, has suffered several nosebleeds during the climb.
Kimberley Walsh, Alesha Dixon, Denise Van Outen, Gary Barlow, Ben Shephard, Ronan Keating and Chris Moyles are also taking part.
