Wednesday, 4 March 2009
A man has pleaded guilty to criminal damage after Jay Kay's £1million Ferrari was vandalised outside a Suffolk hotel.
The windscreen and driver's side window of the Jamiroquai singer’s Enzo were smashed when the motor was parked outside the Brudenell Hotel.
Lowestoft Magistrates' Court heard chef Aaron Billington, 21, of Aldeburgh, committed the crime in a 'moment of madness' in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It's claimed he became upset by 'offensive' remarks made by the singer, 39.
Repairs to the sports car will cost a whopping £30,000.
