Singer lost her balance and ended up in the bushes
Tuesday, 3 March 2009
Alesha Dixon tumbled 10ft during her charity mountain trek - while answering a call of nature.
The singer, who is scaling Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief, lost her footing and rolled several metres down a steep ledge.
Fortunately, the 30-year-old was not injured and managed to giggle about the accident.
'The rest of the group were assured she was okay when her distinctive laughter rang out from the bushes,' says a Comic Relief spokeswoman.
Denise Van Outen, 34, also tripped up later in the day and broke her climbing pole in half.
Gary Barlow, Ben Shephard, Cheryl Cole, Chris Moyles, Fearne Cotton, Kimberley Walsh and Ronan Keating are also taking part.
