Big Brother star's pal says she's now in less pain
Tuesday, 3 March 2009
Jade Goody's emergency surgery was completed without any problems.
The Big Brother star, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August, had a bowel blockage removed at London’s Chelsea And Westminster Hospital.
'Jade had her operation yesterday which was successful,' her pal Kevin Adams tells This Morning.
'Although a few hours later she was shuddering and was so cold. Her lips went blue.
'The doctors and nurses remained calm and this calmed Jade down a lot.
'She is in less pain now, on a scale of one to 10, she was in a sharp pain of 10 but she is now around 6.'
Jade, 27, remains upbeat ahead of the baptism of sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, this Saturday.
‘We’re trying to plan things as a family so the boys have good memories of us all together,’ she writes in her new! diary.
‘The christening will definitely be fancy dress. I might go as a boiled egg!’

This poor young woman is struggling against a lost battle. If she is doing so for the sake of her children, she has to rush with the christening. It may be the last opportunity to leave a bright good memory of them together. But not go home to die.I was a very young girl 40 years ago when my dad died at home of bowel cancer and I've been affected for my whole life.I wish she may stop suffering!
