Jade Goody never spoke to Wendy Richard, despite reports they chatted

Jade Goody has paid tribute to Wendy Richard.

The former EastEnder passed away last week at the age of 65.

‘I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear Wendy Richard lost her battle with cancer,’ Jade, 27, writes in her new! diary. ‘She was a great woman and a wonderful actress.

'We never spoke, despite what the papers say, but I’ve always wished her well. My thoughts are with Wendy’s family.’
