Whitney Houston divorced Bobby Brown in 2007

Whitney Houston doesn’t think Rihanna should continue her relationship with Chris Brown.

The hip hop star was arrested and charged with making criminal threats on 8 February after allegedly assaulting the Umbrella singer.

Whitney, 45, who had a fiery relationship with ex-husband Bobby Brown, 40, reckons Rihanna, 21, is better off without Chris.

‘Don’t make the same mistakes I did,’ she says, reports Metro. ‘Whenever you let your heart rule your head, you are bound to run into trouble.’

Chris, 19, who is due in court on 5 March, has since apologised.
