Kate Winslet insists winning an Oscar has not changed her.

The 33-year-old was named Best Actress at the Academy Awards on Sunday for her role in The Reader.

But Kate, who is married to Sam Mendes, 43, doesn’t want to be treated any differently.

‘I hope it won’t change anything in how other directors and actors work with me,’ she tells the Daily Mail.

‘I mean, the Oscar is going in the loo, next to Sam's. I’m not taking it on a set.

'I’m just going to work the way I’ve always work, which is just to get on with it.’
