Actress has been taken to Manchester hospital

Jane Danson is married to former Emmerdale actor Robert Beck

Pregnant Coronation Street star Jane Danson has gone into labour.

The actress was taken to a Manchester medical centre yesterday in preparation for the arrival of her second child.

‘Jane is in hospital and we are awaiting some exciting news any time now,’ a source tells The Sun.  

Jane, 30, who plays Leanne Battersby in the ITV show, and husband Robert Beck are already parents to Harry, 2.
