John Mayer: I was nervous about going to Oscars with Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer avoided the red carpet

John Mayer was worried about going to the Oscars with girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.

‘I was very, very nervous,’ he tells Us Weekly. ‘It's not my world, the Oscar thing.

'You can go from a Grammy winner to a water boy when you walk in the Kodak Theatre on Oscar night. That's just like a whole different level. [I just went for] moral support.’

Jennifer, 40, presented an Oscar with Kung Fu Panda star Jack Black, 39, while ex-husband Brad Pitt, 45, and his new partner Angelina Jolie, 33, looked on.
