Jennifer Love Hewitt has spoken out about her split from fiancé Ross McCall.

The couple, who were together for three years, called off their engagement over Christmas.

‘[Just take it] one day at a time, and [eat] lots of chocolate!' she tells In Touch.

'Everybody has to get through it in their own way.

'I choose to believe that some people are just not right for you, and there’s somebody else who will be.’

But Jen, 29, has hinted that she and Ross, 33, won't be keeping in contact.

‘Sometimes it’s okay not to be friends,’ she adds.
