Coleen Rooney has expressed her sympathy for cancer stricken Jade Goody.
‘It’s been so sad seeing Jade become more and more ill in the papers,’ she says.
'Especially seeing her with her two gorgeous boys. My heart really goes out to her.
'I think her wedding would have been a lovely thing for her to look forward to, although it must have been a very emotional day.’
Coleen, 23, is relieved the Big Brother star has husband Jack Tweed and her family around her.
‘I met her and a few of her friends at the V Festival a few years ago,’ she says.
‘They were a lovely bunch of girls, they reminded my of my group of friends as they seemed really nice.
'I know they’ll be really strong for her and will be totally supporting her, along with all her family.’

I'm so sick of reading about Jade, is she the only person in the UK dying of cancer? Let's face it - she's just another Big Brother wannabe-star with no education, no career and no opinion. If she didn't have cancer, she would be a nobody. p.s.: I'm working in a big hospital. Last week 12 people died of cancer. None of them was famous, none of them was constantly talking to the press and none of them was as overrated as Jade.
Beings as you work in a hospital you should know that as a result of this terrible tradgedy cervical screenings have gone up by 20%. It's true she is not the only person with cancer and it's one of the most awful things for anyone to go through but if her speaking out saves just one life then surely that's something. If you don't want to read it then don't no one is forcing you!!!!!
I have to agree with Monty. I volunteered in a in a hospice, where quite a few young women who passed through the doors eventually died. It was so sad. None of them were talking to the press 24hrs a day either; nor were they hissy fitting attention seeking primaddonas.
anyone who doesnt want to read about jade doesnt have to do they? i agree with jade if what jade goody has done saves one life then something good has come out of something bad, plus at the very least her children will have what she never had as she said herself, this is another reason why she has done this,giving the chance and being in her shoes what loving mother wouldnt do the same for her children? i admire and praise jade for all she has done to try and secure a good life for her children, and to make more people aware of cancer well done you jade, and a safe journey to heaven where there will be someone to cuddle you and tell you you dont always have to be the strong one and that its ok to cry my love x
