Rihanna was 'desperate' to get back with Chris Brown

Rihanna went home to Barbados before hooking up with Chris Brown in Miami

Rihanna and Chris Brown have been reunited at Sean 'Diddy' Combs's house on Miami Beach's Star Island.

'They are definitely together and care a great deal about each other,' a source tells People.com.

Rihanna, 21, had been crying every day after being separated from Chris nearly 3 weeks ago.

She was said to be so desperate to reach out to him while at home in Barbados that her mobile phone had to be confiscated by her mum.

‘It’s been a crazy, stressful time for Rihanna and everyone in her camp,’ says our source. ‘Her friends, family and staff have been offering emotional support and constantly cheering her up.'

According to friends, the main reason Rihanna won't let go of Chris is that, despite their tumultuous relationship, she considers him her soul mate.

‘She still feels Chris is her best friend and he was her first real love,’ says our source.

‘Like Chris, she’s really just a kid and quite immature. She’s told friends that she’ll never find anyone else that she’ll connect with again.'
