Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is rumoured to have a secret husband - who she split up with last month.

The actress, 24, wed Rohan Antao in Goa in December 2007, according to pals.

Freida has been accused of keeping quiet about the relationship - and the recent break-up - because it could reduce her chances of landing film roles.

The couple are said to have been together since 2004 when they met at a Mumbai college.  

Rohan, a marketing exec, has declined to comment. But he has updated his Facebook status to say that he is now 'single'. 

Freida’s agent Meenakshi Gehani has played down the reports.

‘We do not want to comment,’ he tells the Daily Telegraph. ‘However, if she is married then whoever is claiming it should produce a marriage certificate.’
