Actress looking for a new home in Manhattan

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt recently signed a lease on a £30million Long Island mansion

Angelina Jolie has been snapped looking round a luxury flat in New York.

The actress, who has 6 kids with partner Brad Pitt, checked out Manhattan's Washington Heights on Tuesday.

‘The building is pretty fancy,’ an onlooker tells Us Weekly. ‘It's really nice. She waved to the cameras, said, “Hey, guys".’

It’s thought Angelina wants to relocate to the Big Apple while she films new movie Salt.

Earlier this year, Brad, 45, admitted he'd like to put down roots for a while: 'I've been dragging my kids from continent to continent. So we're going to give them a break.’

The couple are parents to 7-month-old twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, daughter Shiloh, 2, and adopted kids Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, and Zahara, 4.
