New waxwork of singer celebrates her comeback
Tuesday, 17 February 2009
Britney Spears has had a new waxwork made in her honour.
Madame Tussauds in London unveiled the figure yesterday in its Music Zone to mark her comeback.
The statue recreates Britney’s winning pose, complete with huge smile, from the MTV Video Music Awards in September, when she was awarded 3 gongs.
Dressed in a sparkling silver frock, it features the 27-year-old clutching one of her trophies in her hand.
‘We are delighted to be featuring Britney at Madame Tussauds London for the second time,’ PR Manager Liz Edwards tells Now Online.
‘Her original figure captured a provocative pose from her 2001 Dream Within A Dream Tour and was extremely popular. However, she’s undergone a huge transformation since then and we wanted to reflect her as she is now.’
A new interactive section – The Britney Spears Dance Tunnel – has also been developed to allow guests to learn Britney’s most famous routines and to show her through 6 different stages of her career.
IPC Media Limited, owner of nowmagazine.co.uk, will collect the address of the recipient solely to process your requests.
A wax figure of Britney is more attractive than most live women.
