Denise Van Outen is training hard for the Red Nose Climb for Comic Relief.
‘I’ve been going to the gym three times a week,’ the 34-year-old tells Now. ‘Even when we had heavy snow recently, I still trained.’
Denise has become close to fellow climber Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole and plans to grill Cheryl, 25, for wedding tips.
‘I’m taking my notebook up Kilimanjaro, so if Cheryl’s got any wedding ideas I can make a little note of them,’ she says.
The loved-up star’s giddy with happiness about marrying Lee Mead, 27 – her beau of 18 months. He proposed last month before whisking her away to St Lucia.
‘I’m really excited. But there’s a lot to organise,’ she says. ‘It’ll be later this year. I want to get the climb done and then we’ll work out what’s what.
‘We haven’t decided whether to have a big wedding or something intimate. We need to work out how many friends and relatives will be attending.'
