Melinda Messenger: I’m going to renew wedding vows

Dancing On Ice star happy to be back with husband Wayne Roberts

Melinda Messenger and Wayne Roberts have been married for 10 years

Melinda Messenger and husband Wayne Roberts are planning to renew their wedding vows.

The pair had an 8-month trial separation last year but are now back together and Mel, 37, wants to celebrate their reunion with a huge bash.

‘We got married in Bali with 30 people with us, but now we think it might be nice to do something that’s a big celebration and get everyone together,’ she says.

Mel says appearing on Dancing On Ice has helped her and Wayne, 31, move on. 

‘This has been the most brilliant thing for all of us, it’s made us massively closer,’ she tells The Sun. ‘Last year was hard for all of us.

‘So it’s nice to be immersed in something that is really fun and exciting and difficult. My head can’t go anywhere else - I have to be completely focused on the skating.

'It’s a welcome relief from the distresses of last year and it helps us put everything else aside.’

The couple are parents to Morgan, 8, Flynn, 6, and Evie, 5.
