Mary-Kate Olsen: We worked for sweets on TV show

Actress and sister Ashley Olsen loved a bit of gummy bear

Mary-Kate Olsen also has a fashion line with her sister Ashley

Mary-Kate Olsen and sister Ashley were motivated by sweets when they were child actors.

The twins shot to fame playing the joint role of toddler Michelle Elizabeth Tanner on American sitcom Full House from 1987 to 1995.  

And to make sure they behaved during the scenes, the crew would dangle candy in front of them.

‘[They] would get little gummy bears, cut into three pieces,’ Mary-Kate, 22, tells Interview Magazine. ‘And we'd crawl to the gummy bear or reach for it...The outtakes of Full House are pretty funny.’
