Actress gives birth to Jamie Lomas's child 18 weeks early

Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has kids David and Emily from a previous relationship

Kym Marsh has lost the son she was expecting with Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas.

The Coronation Street star, who was four months pregnant, was rushed to Trafford General Hospital in Manchester on Monday.

Paramedics spent three days battling to keep the baby boy alive within the womb.

But Archie Jay Lomas died seconds after Kym gave birth last night.

‘Archie is our beautiful angel and we will miss him so much,’ she said in a statement. ‘Thank you for all your support.’

Kym, 32, started dating Jamie in July, shortly after splitting from husband Jack Ryder, 26.

She is mum to David, 12, and Emily, 10, from a previous relationship.

Jamie has two-year-old son Billy with ex Hayley Lever.
