Leona Lewis: I’m not involved in Chris Brown and Rihanna ‘assault’

Leona Lewis has rubbished claims she sparked a row between Chris Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna, which resulted in him allegedly assaulting the Umbrella singer.

Star magazine reports Rihanna was angered when she apparently saw Leona and the RnB hunk sharing a joke at the pre-Grammy Awards party in LA.

'Rihanna saw Chris with his hand on the small of Leona's back,' a source says. 'It may have been innocent, but that set Rihanna off.'

But a spokeswoman for Leona, 23, has set the record straight, saying: 'This has nothing to do with her'.

Chris, 19, allegedly assaulted Rihanna hours before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, reportedly leaving her with ‘horrific injuries'.

Meanwhile, US website TMZ claims Rihanna, 20, and Chris were arguing over a text he received from another woman.
