Kanye West: I’m devastated about Rihanna 'assault'

Rapper speaks out about US reports

Chris Brown has also been dropped from his 'Got Milk' ad campaigns

Kanye West admits he was deeply shocked to hear Rihanna was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend Chris Brown. 

The Umbrella singer, 20, reportedly had ‘horrific injuries', including bite marks on her arms and fingers, a split lip, swelling and bruising, according to TMZ.

‘I don't want to speak too much on it, but I was completely devastated by the concept of what I heard,’ Kanye told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show.

‘[Rihanna] has the potential to be, you know, the greatest artist of all time and, in that sense, I feel like [she is] my baby sis. I would do any and everything to help her in any situation.’

Chris, 19, was booked on a charge of making criminal threats on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, Rihanna’s gran Clara Brathwaite has spoken about the reports.

'I don’t want people to worry,' she says. 'Rihanna is fine. She is doing well.'
