Gail Porter loses mum to breast cancer

TV presenter is struggling to deal with her loss

Gail Porter misses her mother

Gail Porter has been left devastated by the death of her mum Sandra. 

The 60-year-old lost her battle with breast cancer 2 weeks ago.

Gail travelled from London to Edinburgh to be at her bedside.

‘I made it just an hour before,’ she says. ‘My brother said, “I think you'd better get back up here”.

‘It was just nice to be able to say bye. I don't think she was aware of who was there.

'She unfortunately took a turn for the worse and it was all very quick. So, I was up in Scotland last week for the funeral. We're all just getting on, day by day.’

Gail, 37, admits the experience has changed her.

‘I feel more that I can speak about things with friends now,’ she tells the Daily Record.
