Actor admits he was ‘out of order’

Christian Bale says he apologised to Shane Hurlbut the same day

Christian Bale has made a public apology for his expletive-laden rant on the set of Terminator Salvation.
 
The actor was recorded launching into a tirade after he was distracted by director of photography Shane Hurlbut during an emotional scene.

‘I know I have a potty mouth, everybody knows that now,’ he tells LA’s KROQ radio station. ‘I was out of order beyond belief...I acted like a punk.

‘I regret that and there is nobody that has heard that tape that has been hit harder by it [than me].’

Talking about the spoof videos that have already been made of his outburst, Christian said: 'Feel free to make fun of me - I deserve it.' 

Meanwhile, the BBC has also apologised for playing the uncensored recording of Christian’s rant before the watershed on Friday morning.
