Strictly Come Dancing fake tan staining hotel bedsheets

Contestants are caked in heavy-duty bronzing oil

Fake tan sprayed on stars for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour is said to be staining hotel bedding.

The bronzing oil used is apparently leaving unsightly orange stains which are hard to get out.

‘The competitors have to look their best throughout the 45-date tour and that means loads of fake tan,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘The make-up department spray it on liberally and on a daily basis, but unfortunately it has a tendency to run at night.

'It has been ruining the bed linen and towels.'

Tom Chambers, 31, Jodie Kidd, Rachel Stevens, both 30, and Kenny Logan, 36, are among the stars on the tour.

It takes in Newcastle, Glasgow, London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.
