Jade Goody is pinning her hopes of beating cervical cancer on a 'miracle medicine'.
The disease has now spread to the Big Brother star's bowel, groin and liver.
Jade, 27, will start a two-month course of Hycamtin, which is usually introduced only in cases of advanced cervical cancer.
It is likely to be administered via drip while she continues chemotherapy for her other tumours.
‘It has given me a glimmer of hope,’ she says. ‘I’m hoping and praying that there is a chance.
'It’s the first good news I’ve had in a dreadful few weeks.
'Over the last three or four days my view has been “How long have I got?” Now I’m thinking, “Maybe there’s a chance”.’
Jade, 27, is expected to be visited by sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, tomorrow.
