Kate Garraway: My two-year-old thinks she’s pregnant too

GMTV star's excited about extending family

Kate Garraway's baby's due in August

Kate Garraway has revealed her two-year-old daughter is pretending to be pregnant.

The GMTV presenter is expecting her second child with husband Derek Draper.

And when they broke the news to Darcey, who turns 3 in March, she got slightly confused.

‘She seemed really pleased,’ says Kate. ‘She ran around the room saying, “Yippee! Mummy has a baby in her tummy!”

'But 10 minutes later, she announced that she had a baby in her tummy, too, so I’m not sure she really grasps the concept.’

Kate, 41, is confident Darcey will love having a little brother or sister to play with.

‘I have high hopes that she’s going to enjoy it,’ she writes in her new! diary.

‘When we recently visited a friend’s baby she was desperate to feed her and cuddle her.’
