Chantelle Houghton has become a soccer fan

Chantelle Houghton can see herself settling down with new boyfriend Jermain Defoe.

The pair have been dating for 3 months after meeting at a club.

‘Things are going brilliantly,’ she says. ‘He makes me so happy and it’s such a good feeling. I think he could be The One. I hope so anyway!

‘I adore going to Jermain’s games. They are loads of fun! I love watching him play because all I do is look at his legs.’

Chantelle, 25, who divorced singer Samuel Preston last year, says that Jermain, 26 - who is Danielle Lloyd's ex - makes her feel like his equal.

‘I don’t think of myself as a WAG,’ she tells the Daily Star. ‘I can understand why people like Coleen Rooney are called WAGs because that’s how they’re known in the public eye. But I’m known for Celebrity Big Brother and I’m just Chantelle.

‘When I split up with Preston I was single for a year and a half. But I think it’s good when you come out of a relationship and you give yourself time to be single. Now I’m totally over Preston and the time was right for me to meet Jermain.’
