Alex Zane: I broke wind in front of Jennifer Love Hewitt

Channel 4 host doesn't know if actress smelt it

Alex Zane is currently single

Alex Zane was left red-faced when he farted in the presence of his celeb crush Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The T4 host, 29, tried his best to cover up the pong.

‘I have a real soft spot for Jennifer Love Hewitt,’ he tells OK! 'The interview was going well – until I passed wind.

'It didn’t make a sound, so the only thing I could think of doing was to inhale all the smell before it reached her. I’ll never know if she could smell it or not because she kept smiling.'

Despite the gaffe, Alex still reckons he has a chance of hooking up with Jen, 29.

'The best situation would have been if she’d smelt it and enjoyed it so much that she had to smile!’ he adds.
