Hayden Panettiere’s dad gets probation for assault

Judge orders him to attend domestic violence counselling

Hayden Panettiere’s dad has been given two years probation after pleading no contest to assaulting his wife.

Alan Panettiere was arrested on suspicion of hitting Lesley Vogel during an argument at the family home in LA on 10 August.  

A Beverly Hills court judge sentenced him to 24 months probation, £265 in fines and ordered him to attend 52 weeks of domestic violence counselling.

He must also obey a protective order that was previously placed against him.
