Lily Allen: I like men over 40

The singer prefers a mature kind of guy

Lily Allen likes her men to be able to have deep conversations

Lily Allen admits that she much prefers to date older blokes.

The singer, 23, who recently had a brief relationship with art dealer Jay Jopling, 45, enjoys their company.

'I like guys that know where they're going and what they're doing,' she says.

'They make me feel better about myself, because I can talk to them about things and they talk back.'

But Lily realises the 'wrinkly' partners she choses aren't always as smitten as she is.

'They probably don't fall in love as easily as I do,' she tells the Telegraph Magazine.

'When I get into a relationship with someone, I kind of become quite consumed by them.

'I suppose for guys that are older, relationships aren't usually top of their list of things. It's work, really, first.'

Lily previously dated Chemical Brothers' Ed Simons, 38.
