Amy Winehouse rescued a woman who could have drowned while on holiday in St Lucia.
The singer, 25, was sunbathing with a friend when she saw Louise Williams, 39, stranded on rocks.
The British holidaymaker was having a sailing lesson when she was thrown from her boat by a 6ft wave.
She was lying in agony at the water's edge and in danger of being swept back into the sea.
‘Amy was on the beach 20 metres away and she ran across immediately and said, “Let’s have a look at you,”’ says Louise.
‘She picked me up and took me across to the showers and was constantly asking, “Are you alright?”’
Amy, 25, then washed the cuts and wrapped them in fresh towels to keep them clean.
‘I thought she was going to drown,’ the star tells The Sun.
