Socialite hasn't kept in touch with Royal

Paris Hilton is in the UK promoting her new TV show

Paris Hilton has set the record straight about her friendship with Prince William.

The socialite bumped into the Royal, 26, and his brother Prince Harry at celeb hotspot Whisky Mist last year.

But she says they haven’t kept in touch.

‘It’s not true that I love Prince William,’ she insists. ‘I read that I asked him over to spend New Year’s Eve with me. That’s just silly.’

Paris, 27, recently split with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.

She's currently in London promoting her new reality TV show Paris Hilton's British Best Friend and has become hooked on Cadbury's chocolate.

'Flakes are my favourite,' she tells Fabulous, I buy hundreds.'
