Celebrity Big Brother's George Galloway divorced by second wife

Dr Amineh Abu-Zayyad cites unreasonable behaviour

George Galloway is the Respect MP for Bethnal Green and Bow in east London

George Galloway's second wife Dr Amineh Abu-Zayyad has officially ended their marriage.

The couple, who were together nine years, were granted a decree nisi in a London court yesterday.

Amineh, 42, cited unreasonable behaviour, claiming his friendships with other women left her depressed.

George was a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2006, and famously imitated a cat on the Channel 4 show.

The Respect MP went down on all fours, purred and pretended to lick cream from actress Rula Lenska's hands as part of a task.

George, 54, separated from first wife Elaine Fyffe in 1999 after 20 years of marriage. They have daughter Lucy together.

He had a son by researcher Rima Husseini in May 2007.
