Billie Piper: Being a mum's the toughest thing I’ve ever done

Actress isn't getting a lot of sleep

Billie Piper admits she was unprepared for motherhood.

The actress, 26, and husband Laurence Fox had son Winston in October.

‘I had absolutely no idea just how tiring being a mother was,’ she says. ‘Or how hard mums have to work.

'I have worked some sh***y hours in my life but these are the toughest I've ever had.'

But Billie and Laurence, 30, are loving the whole experience.

‘That feeling of unconditional love... I used to think it was so cheesy when people said that before, but it's something I finally understand,’ she says.

‘The smiling... it's amazing. And having a new best friend for life.’
