Singer honoured at music ceremony in Cannes
Tuesday, 20 January 2009
Britney Spears walked away with two gongs at the NRJ Music Awards on Saturday night.
The singer, 27, won Best International Female Artist and Best Video for Womanizer at the ceremony, held in Cannes, France.
The Pussycat Dolls scooped Best International Group, beating British band Coldplay.
But there was a mix-up when it came to the Best International Song prize.
It was originally given to Katy Perry, 24, who also won Best International Album for One Of The Boys.
But she had to hand it back when show producers announced there had been a mistake.
It eventually went to Rihanna, 20, for her hit Disturbia.
