Couple celebrate their child's first year

Singer Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman got married in 2005

Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman hosted a birthday party for their one-year-old son Max on Saturday.

The couple asked over 40 people to the bash, which was inspired by children's book Where the Wild Things Are.

Nicole Richie, 27, partner Joel Madden, 29, and their one-year-old daughter Harlow were among guests invited to celebrate at the family’s LA home.

Costumed characters from the book provided the entertainment.
