Gemma Bissix exits Dancing On Ice

Ex-EastEnder is first woman to leave the show

Actress Gemma Bissix starred in EastEnders and Hollyoaks

Gemma Bissix became the first female to get the boot from Dancing On Ice last night.

The actress, 25, failed to impress the judges with her performance to Celine Dion's The Power Of Love.

'I'm coming back every week,' she said. 'I'm gutted, I just wanted to do another routine.

'I've done seven weeks of training and I have never stepped on the ice [before that] so for that I am proud of myself.'

Gemma was in the bottom two after the public vote, and judges chose to keep glamour model Melinda Messenger, 37, following a skate-off.

Footballer Graeme Le Saux, 40, was the first man to leave Dancing On Ice last week.
