Patrick Swayze released from hospital

Rep says the actor's resting at home

Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2007

Patrick Swayze checked out of hospital on Friday.

The actor, who has pancreatic cancer, was being treated for pneumonia.

But after a week under observation, he is thought to have fully recovered.

‘He is well enough to have been released,’ his publicist Annett Wolf tells Associated Press.

Patrick, 56, is now resting at home in LA with wife-of-33-years, Lisa Niemi.
