Madonna moved to the States after splitting with husband Guy Ritchie in 2008

Madonna's skills in the saddle are rated highly by her horse riding instructor Daisy Trayford.

The singer, who has been riding for two years, is taking part in the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida.

And she’s asked Daisy, 27, to fly to America to help her train for the event.

'She's a dream pupil,’ Daisy tells Horse And Hound. ‘She's very driven, listens to what you say and just wants to do it and improve. You can always get somewhere with someone like that.

'When I started teaching her she hadn't jumped at all and now she can jump a course of 1.05m. Jumping and hacking are her two favourite things.'

Madonna, 50, bought horses Boris and Sportsfield Silver Lining from Daisy's business Exmoor Eventing in 2007.
