Girls Aloud singer had a reputation for being mouthy
Tuesday, 13 January 2009
Cheryl Cole says people view her differently now they've seen her on The X Factor.
The Girls Aloud singer replaced Sharon Osbourne, 56, as a judge on the ITV show last year.
And she reckons it’s given her a better reputation.
‘Until The X Factor there was this thing that I was the gobby bitch of the band,' she says.
‘Yes, I’m opinionated, but I wasn’t this person I was reading about.’
Cheryl, 25, went on to win the contest with her act Alexandra Burke, 20.
‘I just thought I’d sit on the panel and have a laugh at the nut jobs,’ she tells ES magazine. ‘Then it escalated.’
