Singer had premonition about winning Pop Idol

Will Young says he would like to adopt a child in the future

Will Young has revealed he experiences strange premonitions that later come true.

The Pop Idol winner, 29, confesses that he dreamt about winning a talent contest and appearing in a film with Judi Dench – and then both came true.

‘It does happen occasionally and it makes me feel I’m on the right path,’ he tells Weekend.

‘I remember stopping a woman I didn’t know in Bristol and saying: “You have to talk to your mother.”

‘She burst into tears and said she hadn’t spoken to her mother for 3 years.’
