Tom Cruise: John Travolta just adored son Jett

Actor says the teen's death is horrific

Tom Cruise and John Travolta are both Scientologists

Tom Cruise has spoken about the death of John Travolta’s son Jett.

The 16-year-old suffered a seizure at the family’s holiday home in the Bahamas on New Year's Eve.

'I remember Jett when he was born,' Tom says on US TV show The View.

'I saw him when he was just a few months old and John just adored him, and both of his children, and Kelly.

'I just don't have the words for it. It’s just horrific. Here you have a man, both of them doting parents, they're wonderful people and...'

John, 54, and his wife Kelly Preston, 46, held a memorial for Jett at their home in Florida yesterday.

They also have daughter Ella, 8.
