Kevin Costner hospitalised after dizzy spell

Actor called ambulance from his car

Kevin Costner stayed at LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center overnight

Kevin Costner was taken to hospital on Tuesday after falling ill behind the wheel.

The actor, 53, who starred in Oscar-winning movie Dances With Wolves, contacted the emergency services and was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA.

‘Kevin was driving in the Hollywood area Tuesday morning when he began to feel lightheaded,’ his spokesman Arnold Robinson tells People.

‘He called 911 and they kept him overnight in the hospital. He's feeling fine and is back on his feet.'

Kevin was released on Wednesday when test results came back clear.
