Verne Troyer discusses Heath Ledger on Celebrity Big Brother

Housemate talks about working with the star

Verne Troyer is famous for his role as Mini Me in the Austin Powers films

Verne Troyer has opened up about his friendship with the late actor Heath Ledger.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, 40, worked with him on the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. 

‘He was a genuine nice guy,’ he told housemates. ‘He would always help out everyone on set.

'The brief time that I knew him, he made such an impression on me.

'I was blown away by what happened. It's still hard to talk about.’

Heath died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in January last year. 

And Verne revealed he has a tattoo to remind him of the star.

‘This is where I got the heart,’ he said pointing to his wrist.

‘It's in remembrance and also just to let me know that life is short and you don't know what is going to happen.
