Saturday, 10 January 2009
Mickey Rourke admits he hasn’t been in love since 1995.
The actor, who is staging a comeback with new film The Wrestler, says his personal life suffered when his career stalled at the turn of the century.
‘In the movie business it is hard to hold down a relationship,’ he tells The Sun. ‘I haven’t had a relationship for 14 years.’
But Mickey, 52, who has been divorced twice, hasn’t given up hope of finding his perfect match.
‘It would be nice if Mrs Right came through the door, but I’m OK having my pet dogs,’ he adds.
