Hollywood star reckons his peers are ill informed

Mickey Rourke won’t be giving up his day job to become a politician.
The actor finds it embarrassing when his peers try to bring about social change.
Mickey, 56, reckons they just jump on the bandwagon.
‘Actors should shut up about politics, because they tend to be ill-informed finger-pointers who just cosy up to some flavour-of-the-month liberal, you know?’ he tells GQ.
Mickey was named best actor for his role in The Wrestler at last night's Golden Globe Awards.
