Jonathan Ross has made light of the BBC prank call scandal which almost cost him his job.
The chat show host was suspended for three months without pay after leaving lewd messages for Andrew Sachs during Russell Brand’s Radio 2 show in October.
'I am very polite in person,’ he writes on his Twitter blog. ‘I'm just not great with answering machines.'
Jonathan, 48, who returns to work on 23 January, also jokes about his life being turned into a movie.
'I bet the f***ers would get Timothy Spall to play me,’ he adds.

Maybe Andrew Sachs should be grateful to Johnathan as he was a forgotten star until the tape incident and now boasts a position in one of Britain's biggest well liked soaps.
