Gemma Atkinson splits from Marcus Bent

Friends say the couple grew apart

Gemma Atkinson and Marcus Bent have been dating for two years

Gemma Atkinson and Marcus Bent have called off their engagement.

It's thought the glamour model ended her relationship with the  Wigan Athletic hunk, 29.

The pair, who started dating last year, moved in together in Manchester in January.

It's thought Gemma has given back the ring Marcus gave her in October.

'They barely saw each other since getting engaged,’ a pal tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘They have been working non-stop. He’s in Birmingham and she’s rehearsing for Panto in Manchester.

'Gemma has also had offers from the US. They decided it was easier to call an end to things.’

A spokesman for Gemma confirmed the split.
