Thief gets away with jewellery worth £1.3million
Monday, 22 December 2008
Paris Hilton's LA mansion has been targeted by a crook.
A thief entered the front door of the star's £4million property in the exclusive Sherman Oaks gated community.
And he got away with jewellery worth £1.3million during the raid on Friday morning.
'I am devastated. I cannot believe someone broke into my home,' Paris tells Life & Style Weekly.
'They took items that had such sentimental value that no one will ever be able to replace.'
Paris, 27, who was not at home during the burglary, has security cameras installed at the property.
‘A security guard called in and reported that the residence was broken into,’ says LAPD spokesman Ben Llewellyn.
‘Our detectives learned that a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced entry through the front door. The man ransacked the bedroom.’
